Shadow Of The Erdtree

Elden Ring’s Shadow Of The Erdtree is FromSoftware’s “largest expansion” to date—it even outpaces the Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne DLC. This suggests that it is bigger than The Ringed City and The Old Hunters combined.
The Elden Ring expansion Shadow of the Erdtree will be the biggest DLC release from FromSoftware to date.

In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game’s director, divulges the specifics of the forthcoming Elden Ring DLC. Shadow of the Erdtree is FromSoftware’s “largest expansion to date in terms of overall volume,” in Miyazaki’s words. That seems wonderful.

Shadow of the Erdtree will have optional bosses that are similar in complexity to Melania, as the director has already revealed. There will be “over 10 new boss fights” in the game, according to Miyazaki. To fit the newly acquired armament, there will be eight new weapon categories in addition to “plenty of new weapons, equipment, and skills to find.”

Elden Ring DLC:

With all of this extra material, Shadow of the Erdtree sounds incredible, which might not be shocking considering that the Elden Ring DLC costs $40, or almost two-thirds of the original game’s price. Even more expensive than Shadow of the Erdtree, the collector’s edition has a helmet shaped with what seems to be the opponent of expansion.

According to Miyazaki’s comments, Shadow of the Erdtree is bigger than Bloodborne’s beloved The Older Hunters DLC, Dark Souls’ Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and Dark Souls 3’s The Ringed City DLC. Each of those expansions featured creative new ways to play their games, along with extra equipment and weaponry as well as entirely new maps and regions to explore.

Fans of Elden Ring or FromSoftware have a lot to look forward to, and the good news is that Shadow of the Erdtree won’t be out for long—it arrives on June 21 of this year. Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree contains additional strange weaponry, like a giant pot, a stabby shield, and a machine gun.
